Gathering of Wisdom Keepers
Napszarvas, the International Gathering of the Wisdom Keepers, is held every year at the end of August. In 2025, we will gather for the eleventh time, from August 27 to 31. Let us meet again in Királyrét, just 50 km north of Budapest!
Napszarvas is a living tapestry woven from the meeting of wisdom keepers, elders, shamans, healers, teachers, artists, and seekers from cultures across the world — a space where ancient traditions and contemporary voices come together to inspire, share, and remember.

What's happens at Sundeer?
Teachers, healers, and musicians from many continents come to share their wisdom and lead ceremonies that open gateways to understanding the richness of different world cultures — nurturing respect, connection, and remembrance. Born in 2015, Napszarvas has continued to flourish, carried by the vital threads of openness, healing, and love. Over time, a deeply nourishing bond has formed between the sacred land, the people who gather here, and the ever-growing, colorful circle of guests who return each year — drawn together by a shared longing to reconnect with the roots of life.
Our goals
Napszarvas is not only a place to live a profound experience — it is a seed we carry home. What we remember here, what we heal, and what we awaken is meant to ripple far beyond these five days. Into our families, into our communities, into the way we walk through everyday life. With hearts open and spirits rooted in love, we become vessels of transformation — living reminders that another way is possible. Each of us, a spark of change, guided by the wisdom of the Earth and the memory of our interconnectedness.

mission
Napszarvas is a sacred space where the living memory of ancestral traditions meets the collective heartbeat of a community grounded in deep listening and mutual respect. It invites us to inhabit the experience of ritual, to share knowledge, and to weave our stories beneath the silent embrace of the Earth. Here, in Királyrét — a natural sanctuary just 50 kilometers north of Budapest — the landscape unfolds like an ancient whisper, evoking the enchanted forests that, like memory itself, become refuge and nourishment for the soul. As we prepare for the 11th edition in 2025, we continue to be guided by the threads of openness, healing, and love — each gesture, word, and ceremony reminding us that we are part of an ancestral continuum calling us back to the root, to the sacred, and to a deeper communion with life.
