Avelina Rogel, also known as Mama Ave, is an Indigenous woman from the Panzaleo and Palta peoples of Ecuador. She is a spiritual authority recognized by CONAIE (Confederation of Indigenous Nationalities of Ecuador) and a guardian of ancestral wisdom passed down through her maternal lineage. Her path weaves science with the wisdom of the Earth: she is an agricultural engineer specialized in agroecology, has studied ethnomedicine, and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in bioethics.

Mama Ave inhabits the intersection of spirituality, activism, and healing. In her role as Yachay Mama – a wise woman who guides with her words, actions, and heart – she supports collective processes of resistance, care, and regeneration, both in Indigenous territories and in urban and community spaces. Her medicine integrates the art of smudging, heartfelt speech, plant knowledge, and deep listening.

On her journey, she has woven bridges between tradition and the present, reminding us that “thinking from the heart” — corazonar — is both a political and spiritual act. Her presence at Sundeer opens a space for reconnecting with the living wisdom of ancestral peoples, and for feeling, alongside her, the insurgent power of care, reciprocity, and simple living.

Kim Jung-hee is a mudang —a traditional Korean shaman— and a bearer of ancestral medicine that has endured centuries of cultural suppression and transformation. Her path is rooted in the powerful gut rituals: ceremonies of healing and purification through chant, dance, spiritual trance, and sacred possession by divine forces that walk alongside human destiny.
In recent years, Kim Jung-hee has been a recurring guest at Sundeer / Napszarvas, where she has shared her deep ancestral medicine accompanied by her disciples. Those who witness her ceremonies speak of a powerful, precise, and deeply compassionate presence. Her rituals open spaces of transformation that reach into the unseen and the essential.

In addition to healing ceremonies and spiritual guidance, she also leads traditional initiations such as the naerim-gut —a rite of passage for those called to the shamanic path. Through sacred song, ceremonial garments, and her embodied relationship with Korean deities, she weaves a bridge between the visible and invisible.

With every offering, she honors her lineage, her land, and her commitment to restoring harmony between body, community, and spirit. Her presence at Sundeer / Napszarvas is part of a larger weaving of living traditions across the world —in a shared circle of respect, remembrance, and offering.

Ruben comes from the HOPI people of North America, and lives in Arizona, on the land of his ancestors. From a young man with a difficult life, he became a teacher, a ceremonial leader, and a singer. He is an excellent expert in the ancient HOPI prophecies.

I was born in Budapest in 1948, but I spent a lot of time in its countryside. We walked the woods, I inhaled knowledge of herbs. I listened to my grandfather's stories about the ancient past, the course of stars. The legends of those from Nimród through Attila to Árpád took me to a dream world. I learned runic writing when I was 12 years old.

My professor, Gyula László took us to the excavations he gave us access also to his private library.
With Professor Gyula László, I never lost the connection, in my spare time I attended his internal and public lectures as an outsider.
I continued to improve my runic writing skills.

I emigrated to Switzerland with my family in 1981. I took an active role in the life of Hungarians in Switzerland.
In 2005 I dreamed several times about a man sitting by the fire and calling me to him. Once on Duna TV I saw the man who called me in my dream.
He ordained and gave me the task to teach the outsiders about the ancient heritage.
His teachings were interrupted by his death in 2009.
Karaul, the recognized chief taltos of Hungary, was sad about that his son did not follow him on the táltos path.
He said that he had chosen Zoltán Sólyomfi-Nagy as his successor.

In the meantime, I started studying again in addition to my work in Switzerland and became a hypnosis therapist. I heal with hypnosis. I started to follow the path of táltos according to the teachings of Karaul †.
I make sacred fires on the solstices. I teach, I give lecture several times a year on history, our runic writing and our herbs.
I am the keeper of fire, the keeper of parts of ancient knowledge. I believe that every Hungarian should know our ancient writing and history!

Writer, sociologist, a seasoned professional with decades of experience in the field of cultural management. She is a public culture lecturer, teacher and folklorist, who reads embroideries as others read books. Magdolna is also a leader of sweat lodge ceremonies, a diviner, a researcher, a connoisseur and a transmitter of the Hungarian heritage of Csallóköz (the Rye Island) and the Mátyusföld (Terra Mathei) regions.

My intuition, visions and suspicions are the starting point of my research. In such cases, I live in parallel realities in several time zones. I then gather what I can from archives, libraries, museums, publications, books, journals, and other sources from the Internet, and finally, I go to the place. There, I look at what is visible on the physical scene, architecturally, archaeologically, and also on the energy level, as the site may carry other important pieces of information, which after the encounter may or may not be transformed into ideas... I present my results here and there in journals (Ősi Gyökér, Dobogó) and through my privately published books and lectures.

I regularly lead sweat lodges and a ceremony with drumming and singing on the occasion of the New Moon, a period traditionally known as "újság" (newness).

The twists and turns of human life often bring days filled with questions and perplexity. Those who come to me at such times are guided by the "messages" of the Tarot cards, and if allowed, I help them move forward.

I have been able to get to know many sacred sites of my homeland, the northern part of the Carpathian Basin, and the crystal buds of the legacy of our ancestors who once lived here. I regularly pass on my knowledge to those who are interested during one- or several-day trips. I try to help those who come to me, to hold on to our traditions as tightly as possible and to pass them on authentically.

My name is Helene Lindmark. I come from Sápmi — the Indigenous Sami lands across Sweden, Finland, and northern Russia. For many years I have mentored young Sami and represented our people globally, speaking the voice of Mother Earth, the ancestral wisdom carried in our land.

I serve as a Wisdom Keeper, Grandmother, and Guardian of the Earth’s voice, honoring an ancient culture rooted in deep connection with nature—fire, water, land, and spirit. My heritage includes Sami family lines on both sides, as well as Finnish and Russian ancestors.

I recently completed the first module of FIMI’s Global Leadership School for Indigenous Women. I believe deeply in the Sami right to self‑determination in health care, especially in the context of the “Green Shift.” I was born with sacred gifts, and in mid‑life I fully commit to walking this path, carrying ancestral knowledge forward through teachings, rituals, and sharing.

My spiritual journey began in Liikavaara, a village south of Gällivare in Swedish Sápmi—now destroyed by mining. From childhood, nature and elders imparted to me visions, wisdom, and a rich inner world. In the late 1990s, a return to my homeland awakened everything I had left behind. My father reminded me: “Helene, you are not your certificates—you are your roots.” From that moment, I embraced my true calling.

I am a mother of five and grandmother of one. Professionally, I have a background in social care, service and psychiatric trauma work. I serve in organizations such as: Shamish Wisdom Forums, Seeds, Earth Mother Mission, Water Rights Community, COP26 Indigenous Delegation, and UN+50 Stockholm—acting as spokesperson, Elder, and Earth representative.

My message: “Let us unite in our hearts, honour our gifts, walk together as children of Mother Earth—praying, standing firmly and becoming one voice for the world.”

Maharaja was born Guy Bouchié de Belle in 1953 into an ancient French aristocratic family, holding the title of Baron. From a young age, he aspired to become a Catholic priest, but his spiritual path took a different direction when he began practicing yoga at the age of 14. This led him to turn towards the East for spiritual fulfillment.

He studied and practiced Buddhism, and later Kriya Yoga in India, before embarking on the path of bhakti in 1973. In 1974, he received diksa initiation from Srila A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada under the name Jayantakrid das, becoming one of Prabhupada’s earliest French disciples.

For ten years, he studied closely under his beloved siksa-guru, Srila Gour Govinda Swami, who is recognized as one of Srila Prabhupada’s most eminent disciples. After Srila Gour Govinda Swami’s passing in 1996, he continued to receive siksa (instruction) from Srila Bhaktivedanta Narayana Gosvami Maharaja, who affectionately gave him the nickname Jayanta-Krishna.

In March 2008, after thirty-five years of practice and study on the path of bhakti, Srila Bhaktivedanta Narayana Gosvami Maharaja awarded him the renounced order of sannyasa, giving him the name Bhaktivedanta Suddhadvaiti Swami.

Maharaja’s vast knowledge and many years of teaching experience allow him to present even the most esoteric aspects of India’s ancient wisdom in a way that is both engaging and accessible to his audience. His sense of humor, friendly and empathetic nature, and deep understanding of human psychology make his lectures easy to absorb and highly relatable.

In his previous ashrams, Maharaja served as the head of a large family, giving him firsthand insight into the challenges of practicing bhakti-yoga within family life in the modern age. He is also skilled in communication techniques and EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique), and he is always available for one-on-one counseling, workshops, and seminars.

He has worked directly with his Tupuna (Ancestors) all his Life and walks both sides of the Physical and Spiritual Worlds (Te Taha Tinana - Te Taha Wairua) Toroa was also trained by his Grandmother in traditional ancient healing from before the "discovery" of herbal healing, based on sound. Speaking/chanting in his ancient language activates the healing energies. He shares his tribal upbringing and principles by retelling the stories passed down to him by his Grandmother and Elders of the village of his Ancestors' journeys, exploits, history, myths, legends etc. Toroa is of the belief that through the sharing of his Maori culture and traditions he is not only exposing the people to his traditions but also reconnecting the people he meets here in Europe to their own Ancient culture, and helping them reclaim their identity as Tangata Whenua/People of the Land, which doesn't represent man made borders. Condor, Guardian of the Ancient Prayer

Carola Esparza is originally from Chile, born at the foot of the Andes Mountains. She carries in her body the living blend of Mapuche roots and mestizo heritage — a result of both the meeting and the conflict between worlds. For more than two decades, she has walked with deep spiritual commitment, guided by the memory of the Earth, the listening of the heart, and the call of her feminine lineage.

For 25 years, she has cultivated a close relationship with Mapuche grandmother Rosa Huenufil, accompanying her in numerous ceremonies and learning from her the sacred ways of asking permission, giving thanks, and praying with humility and presence.

Her medicine is expressed through song, silence, circles, fire, water, and word. She accompanies individual and collective processes through the vision of embodied prayer, a path where spirituality is lived through the body, in community, and in everyday life. She has shared her prayer in various gatherings and spiritual festivals in Europe, especially in the Netherlands, where she has been invited as a wisdom keeper in ceremonies such as KIVA – Call of the Wisdom Keepers.

From the vision of the Condor — symbol of the South, the heart, and the spirit — Carola weaves bridges between peoples and traditions, reminding us that the sacred lives in simplicity, in deep listening, and in returning to our roots.

Grandmother Tlazoxihpapalotl is a medicine woman, sacred fire keeper, and elder of the Red Path, born in Mexico at the foot of the Iztaccíhuatl volcano. For decades, she has walked a path of humility, prayer, and deep commitment to the spiritual healing and ancestral wisdom of the Indigenous peoples of Abya Yala.

Since 1996, she has been part of the Peace and Dignity Journeys, a continental prayer to reunite the Condor, the Eagle, and the Quetzal. She has walked from Alaska to Tierra del Fuego carrying the sacred word, and today she serves on the Council of Elders of this movement in Oaxaca, Mexico, where she currently lives.

For over 20 years, she has walked with the Maya K’iche’ elders, participating in ceremonies across the continent. She has danced the Moon Dance for 13 years and carries ancient medicines such as Temazkalli (sweat lodge), Cacao, Obsidian Mirror and Obsidian Egg therapy, and Melipona honey eye medicine for energetic vision and emotional release.

She shares sacred name-giving ceremonies, spiritual unions, feminine rituals, song and dance circles, and supports childbirth and postpartum healing, always guided by the Great Spirit and the wisdom passed on to her by her elders.

Born in 1959, married, father of five children.
Tobias lived for 8 years on the Pine Ridge Reservation in Lakota Sioux, South Dakota. He was adopted by the Chipps (Woptura) family, who are in the lineage of healing people. It was there that Tobias was introduced to the Lakota culture, traditions and healing rituals, especially the culture of this family. He was taught these rituals for years and was commissioned by his mentor to bring them to Germany.

Tobias has been working with these rituals since 2000, helping people on their personal journeys and in their communities, and passing on his knowledge. He organizes smudge huts, takes people on vision quests and holds individual healing rituals. Tobias hosts a Stone Dance (similar to the Sundance) once a year, where many people gather for an intense time of communion, introspection and prayer.

Tobias has a vision that these are important times to share these teachings. He trains people to be able to hold their own sweat lodge and canupa services in their communities. I am an ethnographer, cultural anthropologist, teacher, songwriter, poet, and the founding director of the Ancestral Spiritual Source Workshop. I began my practical study of the shamanic (tátos) tradition in 1991. I have been teaching this knowledge since the autumn of 1997, under the name of ANCIENT SOURCE SPIRITUAL SCHOOL. I have traveled to the United States five times (each year from 1996-2000) and once to Canada (2016), where I experienced the contemporary life of the indigenous people on and off various Indian reservations. I have participated in sweat lodge ceremonies (also in Hungary since 1983), which I was taught to lead after I completed the requirements. I have performed the Sun Dance Ceremony four times with Lakotas, and twenty times at home. I have travelled to India three times and to Central Asia many times. In March 2004, my first book of poems was published under the title "Starhawk" (Szenzár publishing house), followed by the second volume "Göncöl szekerén" (Püski publishing house) at the end of 2007, and in 2020, my collected volume of poems and lyrics under the title "Vártalak" (I am Waiting for You) will be published.

I teach because I love dancing, because dance is probably the only thing that has kept me sane and happy in my life and I want to share it with other people. I have been the director of the RT biodanza school in Berlin since 2014 where I am bringing forward the legacy of Rolando Toro. He is Master of Firewalking, and a wisdom-keeper of the global firewalking tradition. He is also a cultural anthropologist, and an ordained Buddhist Dharma Teacher who worked as a lecturer at the Hungarian ELTE University and the Gates of Dharma Buddhist College from 1997-2004. In 2005 he attained spiritual enlightenment that completely transformed him and changed his path. As an ordained Dzogchen practitioner and lineage-holder, he turned to exploring into Tibetan shamanism, eventually leading to travelling worldwide to learn and embrace the burial rites, fire ceremonies and eventually firewalking traditions from around the globe. As a disciple to many wisdom-keepers of the firewalking tradition, he is eventually ordained as a Master of Firewalking on the top of the Turrialba Volcano, Costa Rica in 2012. Regarding the contemporary firewalking movement, he is also one of the 20 certified Masters of Firewalking Instructor Training in the world. He has been teaching and training people in the practical tools that may help reach spiritual enlightenment, using firewalking as his primary means of initiation. I was born in Brazil, raised in Chile, and found home in Hungary with my life partner. My path has never followed a script — it’s been an improvised dance between cultures, languages, and landscapes of the soul.

I don’t fully belong anywhere, and that gives me freedom. I studied sociology, but it was the body, the land, the rituals and the encounters that truly taught me. Biodanza came to me as a whisper and became a lifeline — dancing to remember, to heal, to come back to center. I work with the body because it holds our deepest memories, the ones that words can’t contain.

I walk with the guidance of Mayan and Toltec wisdom. I’m inspired by fire, the drum, silence, and the tribe. I don’t seek absolute truths — I seek real spaces of connection and transformation.

Today I co-organize gatherings like Napszarvas Sundeer, where people from all walks of life come together to remember what really matters. My purpose is simple and radical: to offer spaces where we can be authentic, free, and alive. No masks. No excuses.

Begnazar is a traditional musician from Tajikistan who performs within the Sufi-inspired repertoire of Shashmaqam and Falak—genres deeply rooted in Tajik cultural heritage and mystical poetry traditions. His music reflects centuries-old musical modes and instruments such as the dutar, tanbur, and sato, weaving Sufi devotional poetry into emotional and meditative song.

At Sundeer / Napszarvas, Begnazar brings the vibrational medicine of Sufi chant and melody, inviting audiences into the contemplative heart of Tajik mystical heritage.

Dr. Ágnes Kerezsi

Chief museologist of the Europe Collection of the Museum of Ethnography until my retirement of the Museum of Europe. For decades, my research has focused on the pre-Christian beliefs of Finno-Ugric peoples, and the and related rituals. My fieldwork among our linguistic relatives began in 1989 and participated in 16 expeditions

until 2008. 1 expedition to the Marik, resp. 7 times with the Udmurts and Votians, 7 times with the Eastern Hattians and Votians. and 1 time in the North Hantic. During my fieldwork I have mainly the traces of the pre-Christian religions of the peoples studied, their associated rituals and customs,

as well as analyses of changes. It was a very formative experience for me when, in the early 1990s, I spent three or four hours helicopter ride back 5 or 600 years in history and reached a Northwest Siberia, where at that time there was nothing but tents, hunting and fishing communities, and families living according to the beliefs of their ancestors. Their sacred leader was the shaman. Today these families have several SUVs, mobile phone networks and and computers. Why have people been doing this work for decades? On the one hand, they want to realise the the scientific vision that got him started in this field. On the other hand, I want to give back to them a little bit of the good they've given me, a little bit of the help they've given me, and help and help them spread the word to Europe and the world. or Udmurts in the European part - who also have places and families

In 2012, I came into contact with the Feldmár Institute, where I participated in the classes, lectures and school of Hungarian-born Canadian psychologist and therapist András Feldmár. Where ethics is concerned, how we treat each other is most important. With the head of the Institute, Dorka Bükki, who passed away 2 years ago, I led an 'on-going' group and workshop for 1 year, seeing the effectiveness of which, since then I hold individual and group sessions using several methods. Mystery has been a part of my life since childhood. I was born into a Christian family, where it was natural to consecrate an apartment, celebrate holidays, and pray as a transcendent connection to the one above us. Going outside and beyond the church framework, getting to know and living the diverse transcendent experiences of the world, is still a flow in me to this day. In my life, I had a near-death experience and several world-border crossings. These events and their impact inspired me to learn alternative healing methods and techniques in order to learn about our human life and our possibilities. After Brain Control, I learned energy medicine, spirit medicine, divination, connection with dead souls, leading ceremonies and many other methods in Atlantean magic. I graduated as a hypnotherapist from the National Guild of Hypnotists. (I can use it as a hypnocoach in Hungary) With my family and system affirmations, Aura-Soma, Color Consultant and ColorGenetics qualifications, I also hold group and individual affirmations. Almost a decade ago, I had closer experiences on my 'shamanic' journey. Under the wings of the teachings, school, retreats of János Oguz Majercsik and the ceremonies and teachings of Zoltán Solyomfi-Nagy. In 2018, I connected with the representative of Eastern Khanty traditions, Vitaly Sigiljetov, to the Bear ceremony he led, which was connected to the Bear ceremony of the Eastern Khanty and took place at the same time in Hungary. The effect was shocking and unforgettable. Since then, we have become not only friends, but also spiritual companions. István Somogyi, known as “Karak,” is a Hungarian spiritual teacher and artist originally trained as a chemistry and biology teacher at ELTE University. In the 1980s and ’90s, he founded and led the Arvisura Theater—an influential alternative performance group that stood at the forefront of the Hungarian avant-garde scene. Their plays, such as The Master and Margarita and A Midsummer Night’s Dream, were performed for over a decade and received awards at international theater festivals.

His spiritual journey began in 1986 after encountering the shamanic teachings of Michael Harner in Hungary. In the early 1990s, Karak organized the country’s first drumming circle, becoming a pioneer in the revival of pre-Christian indigenous traditions. His sacred songs have since been sung by generations as a living oral tradition.

As a spiritual explorer, Karak continues to walk his path—sharing his wisdom through teaching, retreats, and ceremonies. His work blends rhythm, song, dance, and presence as gateways to expanded awareness and heart-centered living.

Zsolt István Barát is a student researcher, singer-musician, songwriter and poet. From his childhood, his interest in martial arts, esoteric experiences, history, folklore and the transcendent led him to become acquainted with the shamanic worldview and traditions, and he became a practitioner. The story is about one man's spiritual journey. He became involved in crime as a young man, but at the age of 18 he began his spiritual journey through mind control.
